Our fifth event, "V", took place at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. A warm heartfelt THANK YOU to all 1,600 of you who came out and joined us for our largest performance to date.

The Echo Society is a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization. It gathers to inspire, challenge, and enrich the community through the creation and performance of new sonic and visual art presented during singular, one-night-only experiences.

For V, we collaborated and worked with:
- Over 40 musicians
- Multiple visual and lighting designers
- A sound engineering team
- Film and photography crews
- A number of people behind the scenes on the Echo team

For this one night, 11 composers created brand new works (orchestral and electronic) specifically written for the ensemble we put together. Each piece was choreographed to dynamic lighting and performed live in the 90 min show.

ESKMO Currently scoring Season 2 of BILLIONS

"But once in a while, my ear picks up perfection in a show’s background score, which is why I’m taking the opportunity to praise Eskmo (an electronic composer also known as Brendan Angelides), whose sterile yet somehow soulful contribution to “Billions” perfectly matches the overall mood, in a way that heightens the show’s psychological anxiety and the frosty exchanges between characters. It’s one more reminder that in truly good TV shows, each creative decision matters equally."
The Washington Post

BILLIONS (Showtime) (IMDB)

Eskmo is the lead composer for Billions, the Showtime TV series starring Emmy and Golden Globe winners Paul Giamatti (John Adams) and Damian Lewis (Homeland.)

Season 2 is currently being made and set for air Feb 2017.

The Master Cleanse (2016)
The feature film scored by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher), Eskmo and Russ Howard is premiering at SXSW.

Bob Boilen: "We met at a ping-pong party in Iceland. Brendan Angelides introduced himself as a musician and friend of Jónsi and Alex Somers, who were hosting the party. When I came home from the Iceland Airwaves music festival, I listened to the music Angelides makes under the name Eskmo, and was intrigued."
